Rory

Rory is a total doll! He’s around 18-months-old and about 55 pounds. He’s great with other dogs – and very playful!

Rory adores people. He’s one of those “velcro” dogs… glued to your side and loving to be with you. He leans on you and shows you his affection. What a sweetie!! This is one precious guy!

Update from Rory’s foster mom:

Rory likes kids, is great with other dogs and he learns quickly. He’s crate trained and house-trained. He’s active and fun. He’s actually much like the Dug the Dog from the Pixar movie UP in terms of his personality. “I have just met you, and I love you!”

Foster update 2:

Rory is a smaller sweet, loving & playful boy who seems to get along with all his animal friends. He’s a bundle of energy, but calms down nicely once he’s had a chance to say hello. We’re working on greeting people without jumping and he’s already heeling well on leash. Rory is house-trained, but does best crated for long periods of time, as he still is a ‘pup’. He’s a quick learner and is quite intelligent. He loves to carry around his toys and chase balls. He has bonded well with my 3 year old very low key female Lab, but she often needs ‘time-out’ from his high energy. Rory loves to snuggle and get his pats, treats and hugs – and never wants to be too far from your view. He very much wants a forever family of his own and is working very hard to find them.
