Bayer is a gorgeous, 60 pound, one-year-old who has spent too much time on the end of a chain. Luckily, a Good Samaritan intervened on his behalf, and his owners agreed to allow him to be rehomed.

When Bayer was tied out, he had no access to toys or shelter or a playmate, yet he retained his super cheerful attitude and happily welcomed anyone that would stop by to scratch him. He’s really excited to start his new life – and to be part of a family. He loves to be with you. He’€™ll place his paw on you to get your attention and then stare lovingly into your eyes. Then brace yourself, because you’€™re gonna get a great big “€œI love you”€ smooch!

No one has spent time to teach him much up to now, but he’€™s really smart and eager to please. He’s a quick study. He’€™s also bundle of energy and kisses. This boy deserves a loving home and lots of attention -€“ inside, on a comfy bed, with toys and good friends. This boy is destined for a wonderful future.

Foster Update:

Bayer is so friendly and easy going, you can take him anywhere and he fits right in. He’s housetrained, and knows sit and shake. He wants to play and have fun. He is so loving and gentle, he’ll do well with kids. He’s still young, so he needs to have appropriate things to chew on.
