Rusty

Rusty is a handsome, 85 pound retriever mix. His family recently lost their home and Rusty was surrendered to animal control. He didn’t waste any time while there, making a whole lot of friends among the staff and volunteers. He’s definitely a sweetie and a people person… very well-mannered, quiet and calm. He seems to like other dogs without issue.

Rusty is 6 years old – and his previous family reported that he is good with kids and house trained. He’s also great on-leash; he walks nicely, right beside you. He really good in the car and he knows sit, stay and lay-down. He prefers cheese on his hamburger, takes treats very gently and he enjoys hanging out with the people he loves. This is one really nice boy! And it doesn’t hurt that he is as cute as can be either!
