Prince

Prince and King are “brothers” that were surrendered to a shelter when their owner moved and couldn’t take them. They weigh over 90+ pounds each and although they are large dogs, they both need to drop several pounds to get to healthy weights. Although these boys love each other, they are fine being separated and adjust well if they have another friendly dog in their home to keep them company. They’re both big ol’ babies, super friendly — and happy, happy, happy! They wag their way through life.

Prince is 5 years old, house-trained, playful and a true extrovert. He’s quite a character – sweet, happy-go-lucky and really goofy. A great big love bug, he’s never met a stranger and he’s always making new friends.

Prince is great with dogs and kids. This handsome chocolate guy will fit perfectly in a loving and fun family. He’ll provide his new family with tons of love and lots of good laughs every day. He’s a wonderful family dog with a cheerful personality.

Foster Update:

Prince is a GREAT Dog. He’ a great foster doggie! He’s a lover who gives love nibbles and licks to show his affection.

Prince is the perfect dog for a family that has a playful medium to large sized dog. I really think he needs a (dog) friend if at all possible. He’s house-trained with no accidents or marking. He does all of his business outside. He’s great in his crate at all times of the day and he sleeps through the night nicely.

As far as the cat goes, he doesn’t seem too terribly interested in her. He loves all people women and men. There aren’t that many kids in our neighborhood but when we did see some, he didn’t bark or do anything but just keep walking. He knows sit, shake and down. I practiced with him today. He may try and act like he doesn’t know the commands, but he does – especially if there is a treat involved!
