Scully is friendly and playful like most young labs. He’s especially adorable in person. He loves people and to play with other dogs. He’s 45 pounds and about 2 years old.
He’s a young, active, fun boy who has always lived with at least one other dog. He needs at least one other dog in his new home as he tends to get bored and anxious when left alone, even for short periods. He does best when he’s paired with a confident, friendly dog that he can look to for guidance in how to respond in uncertain situations.
Foster Update:
Scully is a medium energy level, fun loving boy. For a year old he is an absolute dream. He does not chew on items he’s not supposed to; he is not a counter surfer or pushy with other dogs. He likes to be around his people and is content to lie off to the side on a soft dog bed watching you. Scully does not demand attention, but is very happy when he gets it. He is left in the house uncrated and he does fine. He sleeps on a bed next to his foster parents at night and sleeps through the night.
Scully is awesome and we can’t say enough great things about him. He is very gentle with people and when you talk to him, he will turn his head from side to side almost like he is trying so hard to understand “human” words. He gives very soft “kisses. If we didn’t already have five wonderful adoptees, he would definitely be first on the list to become a permanent fixture in our home. He will make a wonderful companion for the lucky person or family he goes to.
